Videogames on the grill trial update

The past couple of days I have been following a story that heavily impacts the videogame world.  The state of California has proposed a law that would ultimately force The Videogame industry to HIGHLY regulate the content of their work so that it is suitable for minors.  The Supreme Court is now tasked with deciding on whether or not this law is constitutional or not.  This is the first case in the history of the long fought battle between Videogame makers and lawmakers that has reached the top of the judicial process.  Most cases similar to this one have been struck down by local and state and other federal courts under the Supreme Court.

Now for the meat of this update.  Today as I was watching TV and reading updates from other sources on the matter.  I came across a transcript from yesterday’s hearing.  The document is seventy two pages long.  The document has recorded all things said by the Chief Justices and by the man representing the law California is proposing.  I am still searching for the other side of where The Justices question the EMA (Entertainment Merchants Association) and Representatives of game producing companies.
