Striding with Glamour and editing flare

Glamourstride has a certain style that shows off the beauty and artistic flare in which she shows us through her videos. After watching her works I was impressed and a bit jealous of the work she put into her videos. I did catch glimpses of my home town in one of the videos that was fun to see. While the music in the videos is not my favorite the song selection for each video does give the videos a bigger feel and shows the subject matter in a positive light. To Ms. Glamourstride keep up the good work and keep on editing. To my readers give this horse riding gal a chance she will impress you. You can find a link to her channel under the banner at the top of the page.

Don't know where I am taking this story yet!

Through out Europe the citizens of Transylvania have been plagued by a mysterious fog. A fog so thick it has stopped all commerce to a near standstill. The local government has issued a state of emergency as cars have been crashing left and right. The light from the windows of the buildings are blotted out by the fog. Even in this fog, people around the area can hear and see activity around the home of the worlds darkest general and home to the man who inspired the legend of Dracula, Castle Dracula was rebuilding itself.

Sonic Generations 1st Impressions

The sonic series, in general is one I grew up with and was one of the games I played as a child. It was a series that grew up with me through my childhood. I admit, my exposure to the Second generation stuff with Sonic with Green Eyes is limited. But that did not stop me from playing Sonic Generations.

Act one of each stage, brings back the feelings I got when I first picked up a Genesis Controller at my Cousin's house and played Sonic for the very first time. They gave sonic the Spin dash (A power that stayed with him starting with Sonic 2). Which is cool. And there is the skills in which you can buy and upgrade the fastest thing alive. Playing as Classic Sonic is a trip down memory lane and I love every second of it.

At first when I played Modern Sonic, I was overwhelmed with how much more complex the controls and the game style was. From the speed boost which can be upgraded later in the game. To the Light speed dash, switching from 3d to 2d is a bit odd to get adjusted to if you haven't dealt with the transition of 3 to 2d in other games.

Overall, I find this game highly enjoyable, the soundtrack is unbelievable and the story of how both worlds seemed to collide is very well done. Go out and buy this game, you have lots of fun with it.

Long time away from the blog.

While I know that my frequency in writing has dropped significantly. I feel it is my duty to you my readers that I give you an explanation as to what is going on.

When I decided I was going to take my job here at the blog more seriously I was still unemployed and seeking stable job. the month after I started pumping out post after post. I took a job at Home Depot. This didn't effect me at first, but slowly but surely my work schedule took over my blog and podcast schedule. I work and I go to school so when I am not at work I am usually in my books studying. The little time I do get to come here I spend it just checking emails and reading news articles.

I will however be taking next semester off because I need more money so I can get a better car. SO my post frequency shall pick up again come winter time and spring and summer.

AVENGERS ASSEMB.......HEY ED YOU COMING

For the past few years, Marvel Studios have been teasing us with secret ending clips in each of their movies which ultimately lead up to an Avengers Movie. Confirmed to the Cast we have.

Steve Rodgers/Captain America: Chris Evans
Thor: Chris Hemsworth
Tony Stark/Iron Man: Robert Downey Jr.
Bruce Banner/The Hulk: Mark Ruffalo(recasted to replace Ed Norton) Hulk Voice: Lou Ferrigno
Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow: Scarlett Johansson
Clint Barton/Hawkeye: Jeremy Renner
Nick Fury: Samuel L. Jackson

Villain
Loki: Tom Hiddleston
The Frost Giants

This movie has been in the works for as long if not longer then Star Wars: The Old Republic (MMORGP)So my expectations for this movie are rather high. I am not pleased with the fact that Ed Norton isn't reprising the Bruce Banner role. While I'm not sure how Mark Ruffalo will fair because he has big shoes to fill. Ed Norton played the Banner role so well but it is his choice to not be part of something AMAZING. I do however hope that Loki pulls what he did in Hulk Vs Thor oh to see the Chaos of The Hulk unchained because Banner was pulled from him oh it would be amazing to see on the big screen.

If marvel studios pulls this off into something amazing. I hope they decide to bring Marvel Civil War to the big screen. Oh the fun that will create.

Rough Work in Progress (The first draft of the new opening to my script)

Prolog
Setting, night time in Brooklyn, a group of girls are walking the streets each carrying an identical hardcover book. The girls are laughing and giggling about something to do with a guy. A voice over begins while the camera continues to follow the girls but this time from behind and about thirty paces back.

Voice: This is the third night in a row that I have followed a group of female kine just like these. Each night they carry the same ridiculous novel published by a ghoul of a demented Malkavian. A book that thinly gives a peek into the world of vampires, something I am sure the Camarilla are none to thrilled about. But do they punish this miscreant Lunatic no; they chalk it up as a prank. To think a vampire falling in love, our hearts stop beating the moment The Embrace starts. Sparkling daywalkers if such a thing ever existed Kane would be rolling over in his unfound grave.

One of the girls breaks off from the group after waving goodbye to her friends. Brunette with blue eyes wearing a Team Edward T-shirt smiles and hugs her book to her chest.

Voice: Finally my chance, has come, she will be added to the collectio. But first a slight change

Turning just after the girl broke off once she is a good distance down the second street he makes his presence known. Turning around the girls face goes from horrified to absolutely delighted.

Girl: Oh my god. Please tell me I am not dreaming

The back of the man’s head is all that we can see as he shakes his head to confirm she is not dreaming.

Girl: Oh my god oh my god oh my god, I absolutely love you. Can I take my picture with you and make it look like you are turning me into a vampire.

The man nods in acceptance and waits for her to come closer for him to embrace her like he was going to bite her neck. His smile turns into grin of delight as he sinks his teeth into his victim’s jugular just as the picture was snapped. To shocked to scream, the girl gasps for air as the life is drained from her body. The phone falls lifeless from her hand as the camera follows its descent to the ground. When it lands the picture is clear, the girls face smiling into the camera, but her murderer is a blur. The scene fades out

Music begins to play as the opening credits role

Surprising Movie Moments of the summer

Okay, so now that the movie summer season is over. This my look back at the good the bad and the shocking.

A list that comes from my own impressions and opinions so by all means tell me I'm an idiot.

1. Transformers Dark of the Moon Sucked major donkey testicles. You may as well called it Shea LeBouf beats on cars, and humans do most of the dirty work and oh look Lenard Nemoy.

2. Green Lantern could have been better, hopefully the sequel is better or just fucking reboot it. This way Ryan Reynolds can do what he is suppose to do. BE DEADPOOL

3. Chris Evans as Captain America was much better then I thought it would be. Being enthralled in the story, I forgot he had once been the Human Torch.

4. Thor was fucking badass.

5. The Deathly Hallows Part 2 blew my expectations away despite the slight changes to the narrative.

The most touching moments of Final Fantasy

This is a short list for me. Because I have only played a few Final Fantasy games. Final Fantasy (3,4,6,7,8,9,10,12,13 and Tactics) This list my opinion if you don't like go fornicate yourself with a rusty pipe.

This list is only 5 places long so don't expect much

5. Serah Becomes a Crystal from Final Fantasy XIII. It is touching because at the very beginning of the story we are introduced to the fact that no matter what they do their course is predestined to become either a crystal or a monster.

4. Garnet and Enio Summoning Alexander In Castle Alexandria from Final Fantasy IX. A touching moment and gives you the impression that Enio and Garnet may or may not be sisters or at least half sisters.

3. The Opera Scene from Final Fantasy VI. While not as tear jerking as say the death of Aeris from Final Fantasy VII, the lead up to it is amazing and all the events after just solidify the moment as one of Final Fantasy's most touching moments.

2. Parom and Palom becoming stone to save the party in Final Fantasy IV. A scene that can Rival Aerith's death from VII because it gives you the emotion that holy fuck two of my characters just bit the dust. While only with you a short time the pair grow on you and become this emotional support to an already beautifully crafted story with characters you can easily invest yourself in. Here watch, this clip comes from the Nintendo DS remake of the Final Fantasy IV.

1. Aerith's Death, Final Fantasy VII. This scene alone had gamers young and old weeping. You spent hours upon hours days upon days (depending on how meticulously you spent level grinding and getting everything you can on the first disc) building this character up, you see the love between Aerith and Cloud blossom from small to genuine love. Then Death from above. The spark that lights the fire in the soul of the heroes to make you want the bad guy to pay with his life for destroying Aerith.

I hope you have enjoyed this list. Please feel free to comment and tell me which moments you thought were touching and impactful in the Final Fantasy Series.

The iEnd? MUWHAHAHAHA....I mean

Today Steve Jobs one of the founders of Apple has stepped down as CEO due to Health issues and not being pushed out by Stockholders. With Steve resigning and the seat of power being given to Apple's one time COO (Chief Operating Officer) Tim Cook. To me PC lover internally I am going WOOOO YEAH THE TITAN HAS BEEN SENT TO TARDURIS (The Underworld of the Underworld and The Prison of Chronos and his many pieces). But I must tip my hat to Mr. Jobs because if it wasn't for him Microsoft wouldn't have pushed itself to compete as long and hard as it has to give us. While I HATE the ifails I mean iPods (in all of it's MANY incarnations) I do recognize that it is a powerhouse among MP3/4 players. Mr. Jobs thank you for your contribution to Technology enhancement and god speed on your road to recovery with your Health.

Two Parts of Breaking Dawn.... REALLY?

I know I have known for awhile that ever since news of Deathly Hollows was going to broken into parts that the Director of Breaking Dawn was following suit. TWO PART MOVIE TO A BOOK THAT HAS NO SUBSTANCE. A movie broken into two unneeded parts because if you take out the padding in the book it will literally translate into 90 coherent minutes. BUT NO we the critics will have to suffer trough two parts of nonsensical crap. But in all fairness, this movie both parts will bring in a HUGE chunk of change because of two factors. 1. The brainwashed fan base. 2. The critics and men dragged in by their girlfriends.

I was on the huffington post website under the movie section (link will be in the sources) but I saw this hilarious photo. Which I will caption

*Note the circle, doesn't he look like Lewis Black and All I can picture him saying is "What the fuck did you two do. Now we have to deal with your hellspawn burlurp child thing."

I give this series so much crap because it is poorly written, the plot goes no where. It destroys the mythos of vampires and werewolves. The one character in the series that you could actually like is thrown under bus because he originally wasn't apart of the authors wet dream.

Jersey Shore hits Italy

Fist pumping kids from NY who go Down The Shore (it's a Jersey saying "We're going down the shore." and when we are at the shore we don't say we're in Seaside we say. "We are down the shore.") The cast of MTV's Jersey Shore filmed their fourth season in beautiful Italy. What can be expected from this season drunken asses doing douche bag things just in Italy. From the trailer it seems like Mike did something to piss off Ron. The only thing I can say about the trailer when you see Mike The Situation on the ground is this

So as we draw closer to another mind numbing season of The Jersey Shore, I have my vodka ready to perform drinking games to the various things that happen over and over and over in one episode.

Delve into the Forgotten Realms (WoTSQ Part 1)

Welcome dear readers to the world of Forgotten Realms a world of high magic and high adventure. A world literally run by thousands upon thousands of gods and goddesses. But these series of books do not take place on the surface of this mystical and fantastic world. The War of The Spider Queen, takes place below the surface and below the ocean under the crust and cut off from the sun. Welcome to the underdark, a subworld of vast creatures and animals. Most predominately the Sub-Race of elves known as the Drow.

The premise behind Book one of The War of The Spider Queen is called Dissolution. We are introduced to the fact that the Drow's Matron Deity has gone silent. Lloth the goddess who corrupted a race of Elves into turning evil. With Lloth silent and seemingly disconnected from her followers all of her clerics subsequently lose their divine magic. This is disconcerting to the Drow especially the females who are the dominate of the race and tend to make all the rules of the Dark Elf cities. With their divine magics gone they know they are vulnerable to attack especially from their Arcane wielding male counterparts. Things in the city of Menzobaeranzen have become tense and male Drow have gone missing.

The book introduces the main characters very well and keeps you invested in the characters all through out the book. From beginning to end you want to find out more about the characters and what they are going to do next. This book alone made me want to go out and devour the following five books.

Standard to the start of any adventure series the book has the basic character types. You have, Fighter; Wizard; Cleric; Rogue; Ranger and Bard. Not all the characters introduced in the first book but that is okay because the next book will bring them in and they will add some new spice the already well tasting book.

Characters:
Ryld: Fighter and one of the Masters of Melee Magthere (The Drow School of fighters). At first he comes off as the slow type as is the usual when writing fighers. But as you read more about him you find him to be more mentally capable then he leads on especially when it comes to battle Strategy.

Phaerun Mizrym: Wizard and one of the Masters of Sorcere (Drow School of Magic), because of his station in the city and his up bringing Phaerun at first appears to be haughty egotistical and rude even to his long time "friend" Ryld. As the story goes on you find out that he has the power to back up everything he says he can do and that he is a clever enough person that you should proceed with caution when messing with him.

Quenthel Baenre: Cleric and Psion, Head Mistress of Arach-tinilth (The Drow School of Clerics) Next in line for the Spot of Matron of the first house of Menzobaeranzen Quenthel is literally one step away from supreme power in the entire city. But afflicted like the rest of the clerics of the clergy she can not access her divine powers and is being plagued by a seemingly endless assault of fiends.

Valas Hune: Rogue, Ranger: At this time in the story not much is known about Valas other then he is a member of a band of Mercs formed by the infamous Jaraxle.

I HIGHLY recommend you go out and pick up this book, it is a story that got me back into reading Fantasy Novels and is a book I have read at least four times.

Capcom dicks over Megaman Fans

Videogame programer legends CAPCOM cancel the Megaman legends 3 project because of lack of meeting of Criteria (to me this means they don't have the budget for it). But the backlash from fans has gotten to a point where CAPCOM has had to turn fans away from their San Diego Comic Con booth. I was never a fan of the Legends series but It was a fun series with a unique spin the Megaman Games. I personally would have loved to see an HD Blue Bomber for next gen consoles. BUT Alas it will not be. According to some the hardcore fans I follow on Twitter. They feel that CAPCOM is taunting them with a Toy they can't play with. Having not followed the hype or the Developer stuff for MM3 I am not sure. But I know if this were to happen with say I don't Star Wars: The Old Republic a game I have been following development for since 2008 were to suddenly just up and cancel. You can bet I would have the biggest case of nerd rage that would make the Hulk Jealous.

One Wing and The Hand of Power

The scene, a dark and abandoned field, lightning is crashing in the background. Approaching the center thunder clapping with each foot step as the two approach each other, they look into each other’s eyes and draw their swords. One wields a wicked looking bastard sword, the other wielding an eight foot long Dai-Katana. Both take their stances and prepare for battle.

Bio: Sephiroth, home game Final Fantasy VII, age unknown, eyes glowing green. Sephiroth is an elite soldier of legend inspiring many would be soldiers to the side of Shinra’s army. It is known that Sephiroth is the byproduct of a genetic experimentation using the cells of an extraterrestrial being known as JENOVA. Sephiroth uses an eight foot long Dai-Katana known simply as Masamune a legendary blade (in both actual Japanese folklore and in Final Fantasy games). He is responsible for kill countless people including the president of Shinra Corp and for summoning Meteor. His aspirations to godhood can only come to be is if he fuses his body with the planet’s life force known simply as the Life Stream. He is a formidable warrior and despite the apparent unwieldy look of his sword it is quite dangerous. Do not underestimate him at any cost because he can and will hand your ass to you quickly.

Bio: Ganondorf A.K.A Ganon, home game The Legend of Zelda Series. Born to an all female race of Hylian women known as the Gerudo. He is the child of prophecy, the first male born to the Gerudo in 100 years will be crowned king of the thieves. He is trained in stealth and melee combat and magic, his adoptive mothers the twin witches taught him how to use magic. Ganon has the tri-force of power on his side and uses it power to bring himself back from beyond many a times throughout the history of Zelda. He looks intimidating and it is true he is, defeating him does not end the fight. He has the ability to transform into a much larger much more powerful beast of destruction.

The Fight:

The combatants rush each other and the clang of metal on metal can be heard for miles. One particular blow sends both combatants backwards and true to his training Ganondorf takes to the air and starts to fire balls of energy at Sephiroth who takes to the air and charges forward cutting through the energy like it was nothing. With a cruel grin Sephiroth slashes through the stunned king of thieves sending the lifeless body plummeting to the ground. Watching the scene below Sephiroth notices a triangle burning to life on Ganondorf’s hand as he comes back to life and transforms into Ganon. Without even a look of shock Sephiroth proceeds to make short work of Ganon despite the devastating power of the beasts Twin swords which Sephiroth easily counters. With one downward thrust Sephiroth drops the beast .

Winner: Sephiroth

Reasons why I hated Transformers 3

Okay first of all I do not care how much money this piece of shit film has made. Put all the sparkles on the piece of shit you want it is still a Piece of Shit. I went into the movie with little to no expectations because to give any movie a fair shake you can not walk in with your expectations set one way or another. I went to the movie with some friends who absolutely LOVED the first two. I will list for you the reasons I hated this movie.

1. The acting
2. The lack of Transformers.
3. Without an extensive knowledge of who is who you can not tell which decepticon is which.
4. Shea LeBouf and his infamous WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW and the high pitched female scream.
5. The character of Sam and his constant bitching. "I don't feel worth while. Everybody has it better then me cause they can do stuff that matters." YOU ARE LIVING FOR FREE IN AN EXPENSIVE APARTMENT, YOUR GIRLFRIEND IS A TWENTY ON A SCALE FROM ONE TO TEN, SHE PAYS FOR ALL YOUR SHIT AND YOU MATTER TO HER. WHY ARE YOU BITCHING.
6. Star Screams Death
7. The length of the movie. 240 minutes, get rid of the first 90 mins and the movie would have been better.
8. The unnecessary celeb cameos.
9. The over use of Star Trek. We get it Leonard Nimoy is in the film move on please.
10. Having Nimoy Rape The Wrath of Khan by saying the quote "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." It was out of context end of story.
11. As hot as Roise Huntington is, she has the same tone in every scene.

I am not the only one who hated this movie. My friends who I went to see this with, hated this movie also

In the ring coming thursday

A villain battle.

Dark Knight Rises. Updates and things that have been confirmed.

The Third Movie in the Nolan Batman Series. There is two things we now know for Fact. The Villains will be Bane and Ra's Al Ghul. It is no longer a Rumor, Liam Neeson has returned to reprise the role and has finished taping. Dark Knight Rises will be out July 20 2012 (Barring any post production set backs)

Sunday, July 10, 2011

Well that was to be expected

Vinny has been seen at the Jersey Shore house again. After "quitting" he has come back. Maybe MTV got the money Vinny wanted. That is the only reason I can see him returning after quitting. So Season 5 (typing down in Seaside again) will have the majority of the cast. The Situation not to sure if he actually quit or was just talking shit like always.

This is not a great show but the kids on this show act like it would fall apart if they left. MTV has a slue of douche bags who would kill to have that job and get paid to do nothing but party, drink and pick up girls.

Fist Pumping Stopped?

Reports have come out that Vinny and Mike "The Situation" have quit and are talking about quiting The Jersey Shore. While I am not sure if this going to effect Season 5 of the show (because Season 4 is already taped and apparently Season 5 started taping upon their return from Italy). While this show is intellectually devoid of any common sense. Though coming from MTV this is to be expected. It was a highly rated show because it managed to draw in viewers who both love and hated it for all that it was. With Vinny and Situation leaving does this mean they will get two new replacements like they did in Season 3 with Snooki's Best Friend. Only time will tell because despite the main cast constantly talking about leaving this show has 4 seasons and a potential 5th.

Other jersey shore news there is a leaked video on the internet of a Drunk Snooki bumping and grinding a house plant.........Classy

Beating the Double Thrust Low

When you think of awesome swordsmen in fantasy one of the biggest names to pop into your head (hopefully) is Link from the Legend of Zelda Series. When you think of sword mastery in a high fantasy series, hopefully you think of Drizzt Do’Urden. Tonight these two master of the swords will go head to head, sword to sword. In the battle to see who will come out on top as Master of the Swords and who will go down in a blaze of glory.

BIO: Link

Wielding a Long sword know as The Sword of Evil’s Bane, The Master Sword. It is never explained where his sword wielding skills come from. They just seem to be innate. He has taken down the king of evil Ganondorf countless times and many other evils Including a Moon that is being dropped on the planet CoughRIPOFFcoughcough sorry . Link has spanned the ages in terms of videogame characters, having had versions of himself on multiple consoles and cartoons. A true blue honorable hero who will do anything for anyone at the drop of the hat. He wields the triforce of courage and the power of the sages and oricales. His chronicles and timeline are a hot topic of nerd debates that have people at each others throats. Love him or hate him Link is a master of the sword and shield, bow and arrow, and masks (I know it is weird). Give him the Deities Mask and he unleashes a Dark and Dangerous version of himself on foes.

BIO: Drizzt Do’Urden

A drow fighter, ranger, barbarian, wielding twin Scimitars named Twinkle (LOL) and Icing Death. Drizzt is a fighter you should not take lightly, he is quick; agile; ruthless and dangerous when cornered. Spending the most formative years of his life under the tutelage and servitude of his older sister who he oddly spares when it comes to dealing with his family in general. Being raised in the ruthless chaotic life of Menzoberanzen in the Underdark takes its toll on people. But even more so when you are trained to be a fighter in Tier Breeches Melee Magthere (The school of fighters), here he was trained in the art of Dual Wielding weapons. Graduating first in his class and primed to be his houses Weapon Master, a position held by his now dead father. After a falling out with this family, Drizzt escaped the cruelity of his world by living in the wilds of the Underdark. It was here he became a barbaric fighter retreating in the dark depths of his mind just to survive, his only companion was a magical Black Panther that he can summon from an Onyx crystal figure. A powerful fighter and a misunderstood man, constantly on a search to find someone who likes him and not automatically hate him because of his race.

THE FIGHT
This fight is an intense fight with both combatants not giving the other any ground. It will be flashy and epic with god chorus music playing in the background. Both would push each other to the limits until Drizzt slips into his darker self and becomes a beast of destruction. Even tuckered out the two would be evenly matched, that is until The magic of Twinkle gets the better of the master sword leaving Icing Death to go in for the kill shot.

WINNER: DRIZZT DO’URDEN

Cedar Rapids a wild insurance nightmare ride

The pre-stage is set; I have my chips, my note pad, my Sweet Tea MiO Water. I hunkered down to watch Cedar Rapids. Rapids which from ariel view looked like Ontario Canada, for this movie I will term it the Insurance Salesman’s Las Vegas. The story revolves around Tim played by Ed Helms. Upon first meeting Tim you get the impression of Stew from the beginning of Hangover 2, a cautious person who holds in his inner party animal. Is it just me or does Ed Helms tend to play the same character over and over? But we quickly find out that the reason why Tim is so uptight is because he used to a sheltered small town life. The only wild thing he does is his former High School Teacher (Sigourney Weaver) and by does I mean bed relations.

Tim is an insurance salesman for a reputable company that has dealt with the members of the town of Brown Valley for over twenty five years. Tim’s boss the man who had been going to the ASMI convention for the company for the past three years passed away just days before the convention and Tim is selected to go because the new boss has to go to his daughter’s wedding. Prior to the convention Tim’s world view of Insurance Salesmen is people who save lives and act as soldiers who man the trenches when disasters happen.

Enter John C. Riley who plays Dean, the “poacher” as Tim’s boss Bill calls him. Throughout the course of the movie, Dean increasingly becomes a ray of hope to break Tim out of his small town shell. Introduce him to the wild world around him, and give him a good grounding when the stuff hits the fan. In the course of four days Tim has gained a new best friend in Dean. While appearing brash and obnoxious Dean shows that he has a tender side that he rarely shows and we find that he is a more complex character then we give him credit for.

The convention itself seems way more fun than I could ever imagine an Insurance Convention to be. Events like scavenger hunt called the ASMI-Mazing Race, Karaoke, and Jack Nicholson Stand Up. It just seems like a convention about insurance would be more subdued. But I am not one to talk, The DECA state trip was pretty off the hook the two years I went.

My final thoughts for this movie, the writing was believable, the casting was excellent, the pacing on spot. Overall this is a very well put together movie with lots of merits and few short comings. The predictable story plot line was like having a map drawn out for you where the story was going to go. While it had good writing and a fun story to follow, it just seems like writers these days to afraid to stray from the cliché. Hangover this movie is not, but it is still a fun ride. I suggest you give this movie a rent and have some fun. Seven out of ten on a scale from one to ten.

This show is about a man Adam (Australian Show) Ryan (American) who after attempting suicide via prescribed pill Overdose (turns out it was Sugar Pills) Meets the girl next door because she forgot to arrange a babysitter for her dog Wilfred. The world sees Wilfred as a loveable dog, Adam on the other hand sees Wilfred as a man in an unconvincing dog costume. The story revolves around the relationship of Adam and Wilfred and their growing friendship.

Adam/Ryan is an ordinary man who is unemployed and depressed and self destructive, that is until he meets the manipulative dog Wilfred who comes into his life via chance and the hot girl next door.

Wilfred is a cigarette and pot smoking, drinking, junk food eating, manipulative dog. The viewer and Adam/Ryan see Wilfred as a man in a costume, the world around him sees him as just a dog.

My first impression of this series is one of optimism. I am looking forward to the next episode. Cause the first episode had me laughing A LOT

Hungover In The City of Squallier

Lost and without a clue, the crew is at it again. But this time the stakes are higher and the city is bigger and more dangerous. Welcome to the city of Bangkok the city of squallier (As Chow puts it). Waking up without a clue as to what happened the night prior and again someone in the crew is lost. It is up to Phil, Stew and hapless Allen to find the lost person in the city where crime is rampant, whore houses and bars are a plenty and monkeys deal blow.

Many many people I have listened to have told me "Not as good as the first one." "Oh it wasn't funny at all."

All I have to tell you is, go into this movie with your expectations not set. This is the flaw of people going to see a sequel. They walk into a movie with these ULTRA OMEGA Grand expectations and when the movie fails to deliver they act like they were taken for a ride.

Very Very few sequels live up to the potential of their originating film franchise. Mainly because producers and directors feel like they have to out do themselves in the next installment and abandon the formula that won them success with their first movie. Hangover Part 2 does not do that, same premise altered story but it works because there was really only a few over the top things in the story.

Rating this movie, I give it an eight out of ten. Not nine because it does have some factors to it that make it not as good. But baring the problems, it is good mindless fun. The ending to the main story is slightly predictable but that is okay. Go and see this movie, judge it for yourself. But do yourself a favor and unset your expectations.

Happy Memorial Day

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone. Hope everyone is relaxing and having a fun weekend. This would normally be a lazy weekend but since I am now back in Retail work, my holiday weekends are jammed packed with you guessed it working lots and lots of hours. Which I do not mind, because time working = more money = me being 1 step closer to getting a newer car.

What has your blog master been up to since the last post. Well besides from work, he has been indulging in the stress relief that is FPS (First Person Shooters) Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Online of course. I know I know I should have been working here on the blog and cranking out post after post of entertainment news and reviews. But frankly my work load has reached a level where I am completely and utterly shot by the end of my work day and do not feel like scouring the interwebs for stories to report on.

Regular posting shall resume once my work schedule calms down once the season begins to slow down.

Things to look forward too

1. The return of FCFF
2. Hangover 2 Review
3. Thor Review
4. Episode 3 of The Podcast

Thank you for understanding why the site has slowed down as of late.

Impressions of a nerdier mainstream show

When being a critic in the world of Entertainment at large. One must emerge themselves into all aspects of things entertainment. This includes watching things that you hate as well as what you like. I find American Idol and all shows like it and their dancing counterparts overrated and overhyped. By no means am I saying that all reality TV shows are bad. There are some really good ones that are produced but do not get that much hype because they don't have Ryan Seacrest hosting the show. Something about Ryan Seacrest just makes me want to punch him in the face whenever I see or hear him....... odd.

But luckily this post is about a TV Drama/Comedy on FOX. The critically acclaimed, much loved and much watched show. Glee. I am not here to pick on Glee no no no. I am here today to bring to light some of the nit picks I had about the current season. Or should I say Second Half of the Second Season.

The second season of Glee started off nice and strong with many new and interesting plot hooks to keep returning and new watchers interested in the show. But then comes the Christmas episode and the subsequent season finale with the break up of Finn and Rachel. Drama added to the show keeps viewers guessing and hating one character over another. Good but when the Second half starts we reintroduce the love interest of Finn and Quinn and the beginning of the who does Finn love more love triangle. IT DOMINATES THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON. This aspect of the show even manages to out weight the moral issues of each episode or overlapping moral issues. The music which is the main part of the show went from strong in the first half to mild in the second with a few good selections here and there.

The Regionals episode where the club did their own Original songs was by far one of the strongest episode of the Second Half of Season Two. Because it shows the audience that the club has actual talent and doesn't have to continually do pieces that are dominating main stream radio and old classics.

Glee itself has a problem of bringing to light some strong plot hooks and then completely leaving them out to dry for the majority of the season, touch on it later with no real closure and then leave it out again. Even with the Kurt being picked on by the in the closet football player it has come to a point where they should really just close the chapter but are having a hard time doing so. Because at least in the current season the entirety of the show is The Quinn Finn Rachel Triangle.

With one episode left in the season itself and tension is mounting for the show. I just hope it ends on a good solid note and not a sour one. If it has a strong ending I want to see the writers be able to come back and try and top themselves. But if it ends I like think it is going to end. Well. Then I see Season Three starting out cliche.

Welcome Back (PSN Half Erect)

Back in April I posted on the Hiatus of the PSN due to a Hacker Attack. I am not completely one hundred percent as to when it went back online. But it is back. I fired up my PSN to my joy I see "A System Update must be installed. You can do this by going to settings and System Updates." I eagerly scrolled over to the update and got it. When it was complete to my joy I was able to log on to my PSN account (after a password change).

You maybe wondering as to the title selection. It means that while PSN is back up the Playstation Store is not. It is still undergoing maintenance. While normally this wouldn't bug me, but I would like to see PSN restored to it's former glory. While the argument of which Gaming Console Online Service is better. Let me first say this. Just because your online service for your console wasn't hacked and had to be shut down, does not make your service better.

I will not go into that debate because this is joyful news that the PSN is making it's way back. Through trials and tribulations what doesn't kill us only makes us stronger.

Fast and Confused Times Five

For those of you avid Fast and Furious Franchise Fans (Like Myself) please let me know if you are confused by the story presented to us since the return of the main cast. For those of you who followed the story, explain to me the change of Brian's (Paul Walker) character. At the end of 2 Fast 2 Furious Brian and Rome had just completed their undercover mission for Customs to clear their criminal records and had plans to stay in Miami and open a garage. Skip a whole bunch of years and return to Fast and Furious. Brian is now a full fledged FBI agent on a short leash but still an Agent. Rome is not mentioned and the aspirations to open a garage swept under the rug. At the End of Fast and Furious Brian is back to being an on the run from the law.

Fast Five rolls around and picks up right where Fast and Furious ends. Dom is rescued and the crew escapes to south of the boarder. End of Story YAY! No just kidding. Once down in South America in Rio the crew is brought back together with Vince. You know the dude that almost lost his arm in the end of The Fast And The Furious. Vince gets Brian and Mia involved in a job that ultimatly back fires and send them to the very tippy top of the FBI's most wanted list. Once you are at that level the FBI doesn't fuck around anymore. They are so serious about getting you that they send..........

*Music Blars*
"KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH. How dare you try to describe the awesome that is THE ROCK. Do you think you can Do this Properly."

Me: I......

Rock: "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK YOU CAN DO!"

"The FBI has the smarts the tenacity to BRING IT, to the criminals so much so. That they tell me THE ROCK, to shine my size 13 boot up all real pretty, turn that son-bitch sideways AND STICK STRAIGHT UP DOM'S MONKEY ASS."

*Cuts off power to the mics*

Anyway. Dwayne The Rock Johnson playing an old school style wrath of god manhunter is sent after the crew to bring them to justice. It is at this point where the movie goes from being about The Crew to The Rock doing what he does best and stealing the show. One of the best fight scenes in the entire movie is between The Rock and Vin Diesel. Vin is a big dude but next to The Rock it may as well be David Vs Goliath.

Through out the pacing of the movie which is typical of an F&F movie we add in the cast of 2 Fast 2 Furious minus The Hot Asian Chick. Again with a character change not only for Rome but for Ludacris's character also. Knowing that they messed up the character for Brian the compensate the change by saying that "We had lives before you knew us." Rome is the least changed but still changed.

The story while choppy at times ties mostly everything together and gives you high paced adrenaline action which is always fun. If they are going with the story the way I think they are. The character of Han will not be appearing in the last Fast And Furious movie and I think they will be bringing in the Kid from Tokyo Drift. Because sooner or later they have to deal with the fact that Han's character is technically dead in the story.

I give Fast Five a 8 out of 10 because character and story confusion and the lack pacing of the story could be done better. Overall it was a well put together movie.

PSN Leak spells lengthy offline stint for gamers

After A WEEK of investigations for the SONY PSN and Qriocity Stream Service. The Sony Playstation Blog has released a statement as to why their Services have been down. According to the PS Blog an unauthorized outside user hacked the system and got subscribers of both PSN and Qriocity Stream Service personal info. The blog does not confirm how many users have been effected by the Hacker Attack and have not confirmed if the hacker got people's Credit Card Numbers. But the Blog writer for PS has said that all users should be on the side of Caution and check Credit card account statements. It also urges users that once operations of PSN and Qriocity have resumed to change passwords.

I am all for investigating and taking measures to ensure everything is as it says it. But to say you discovered compromised account information between the 17th and 19th and then bring it to the attention of your users on 26th.... THAT ANNOUNCEMENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MADE THE SECOND YOU TURNED OFF YOUR SERVICES. Instead of leaving your users in the dark as to why they can not Get movies, games, updates, new streaming video games and play their games online. I respect due diligence when it comes to investigating network flaws. But you have to let the people (people that have trusted their information to your services) know that hey it is possible your account has been compromised so umm be careful and watch your personal shit.

Sony Playstation. I love you, I love your products but shit like this makes it harder for me to defend you.

A Sad Day for Doctor Who Fans

According to the Doctor Who Magazine Twitter and seemingly other in the know Geek figures and news sites dedicated to DW have reported that Elisabeth Sladen the actress best known for her role as Doctor Who Companion Sarah Jane Smith has passed away at the age of 63. For the newer fans of the series, Sladen returned to reprise her role as Sarah Jane with the tenth Doctor in the new Series 2. She will be surely missed by her friends, family and fans a like.

Update: At 5:45pm Eastern Standard Time A BCC site announced the Actresses passing. My deepest condolences go to the Sladen Family and Too Elisabeth's Daughter (Sadie Miller) who appeared along side her mother on Sarah Jane Smith's audio plays.

This is not the Alpha House (AP:G2 review 3/3)

On this journey through the Second generation of American Pie. We have went from Band Camp back to East Great Falls High School and Finally back to the college of the infamous original cast. This is BETA House, The best party frat house on campus. BETA House continues the story of Erik Stifler, now a Fresh in college and four months free from his high school sweetheart who left him for pretty boy Trent. Single and ready to mingle Erik and his new roommate Bobby and His Best Friend Cooze are brought to BETA House for a Rush Party by Erik's Cousin Dwight.

Throughout the hijinx of being a BETA pledge, Erik falls in love with a girl from his Dorm. The battle with the Geek House only serves to strengthen the relationship.

On the point of the Geek House. The Geek House is a new frat like the midget frat who formed specifically to only accept people like themselves. Except The Geek House has pretty much taken over everything and has even gotten the Midget Frat evicted from the school. After a prank by the new pledges The Geeks Challenge the BETAs to the Greek Oylmpiad a series of events designed around Frat Life in order to see who the is the better frat. The games themselves had been banned on the Campus for the past forty years and the house who has always won the Golden Hammer of the games has been the BETAs.

With the story laid out lets get to the nitty gritty. The Geek house is way to overacted and are not what you would expect of a Geek House. When you think geek house I hope you are thinking of the geeks from Revenge of the Nerds. The Geeks in this movie are way to over played and don't seem real. The acting in the movie is what you would expect of an American Pie Movie. But out of all the second generation movies Beta house is the best of the three. I shouldn't have liked this movie but I did, because it made me laugh a lot.

So I have to give this movie a 7 out of 10

Run A Mile....Naked (AP:G2 Review 2/3)

From the summer in Tall Oaks Band Camp we go to the other youngest Stifler. Erik, Steve and Matt's cousin. From the very look to the lack of douche bagness Erik is every the Stiflers are not. He is smart, kind and has a steady girl friend. (This statement takes into account that Matt probably fucked his relationship up with Elyse). Most importantly Erik unlike the rest of the Stifler Clan, Erik is a a virgin. And this to him is a problem, and it leads to him having a conversation about it with his virgin girlfriend Tracey. Who in turn after being talked into by her friends, decides she is going to give herself to Erik. When the virginity hit plan fails and Erik gets the shit scared out of him (Literally). Deciding she is still not ready, Tracey gives Erik a one weekend guilt free pass. Can you say WHAT THE @#$% ARE YOU THINKING.

The guilt free pass just so happens to coincide with the running of the Naked Mile. A time after exams when students run a mile in their birthday suits. Erik and his two best friends are on a mission GET ERIK DE-VIRGINIZED because that is what best friends do for each other.

The story is basic, and cliche with midget gags thrown in. There is way WAY to many gag scenes with midgets in them. The main character Erik Stifler doesn't try to over act his voice and pretend to be Steve like Matt does (which gives this movie some points). The pacing of the script was a bit better then Band Camp and the dialog was at least engaging. The characters are likable even the douche college age Dwight Stifler is likable. The story while cliche was still enjoyable.

MY VERDICT. I give American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile a 7 out of 10

A slice of Band Camp Pie (AP2.0 review 1/3)

The American Pie trilogy the ones that defined my high school career. The ones where we got the Term MILF from forever etched into our minds. When thinking of American Pie you think of Jim the kid who fucked the apple pie and then went on to marry the Nympho Band geek chick. But then we get into the movies I am going to review.....

Here is American Pie Presents Band Camp.

The story is about Steve Stiffler's little brother Matt (Tad Hilgenbrink)and like his elder half wit sex crazed brother. Matt is following the same foot path, everyone in the high school hates him but pretends to like him because he is rich. After a half successful half failed Graduation prank. Matt is sent to spend the summer at Tall Oaks Band Camp. Before leaving he hatches a hair brained scheme to film the freaky sex acts he heard about from Jim. HIJINX and budding love (via Stockholm syndrom) ensue. We see the gradual shifting of Matt Stiffler from sex crazed asshole to sex crazed nerd lover.

The reluctant catalyst of the transformation in Matt comes in the form or the Catherin Heigl.....I mean Arielle Kebbel a former childhood friend of Matt who turned against him because Matt became to much like Steve. Only to fall in love with Matt during the summer. The budding relationship is tested when Elyse finds out Matt's plan involving the other campers. When Matt redeems himself later she forgives him.

It is your typical cliche teen drama comedy story. The acting besides for the Elyse character is mind rapingly bad. The Dialog is cheesy at best and down right idiotic at worst. Even the band characters are out of place and unbelievable except for the super nerd he was the only believable side character in all of this douchebaggery.

American Pie Presents Band Camp gets a 5 out of 10. The story, pacing issues, dialog and cinematography all make for a bad movie that leaves a rancid taste in your mouth. The only redeemers to this movie are Elyse (Arielle Kebbel) and Mr. Levinstien (Eugean Levy). Do yourself a favor and if you are oging to watch this movie watch it drunk and or high. That will probably make this movie Tolerable.

The end of an Era

This past Monday night, brought about an announcement that forever changes the world of the WWE. Granted there is many changes in that world but this one strikes close to home because one of my favorite wrestlers is retiring. Adam Copeland (Edge) announced that after a battery of tests he was told by doctors that he has no choice but to retire.

For those of you unaware Edge has been a long standing character having main evented Wrestlemania with the Undertaker, to many many many other history worthy matches. I am proud to say through even the ultra heel era where he was hated by pretty much everyone. I remained a loyal fan. With edge retiring the WWE Universe will need to find someone just as charismatic and natural on the Mic as he was.

An end of great era and I thank you Adam Copeland for all the memories.

What is to come in the next three posts

The next three posts I will be delving into the Unrated Unholy Trilogy that is American Pie The Second Generation (Band Camp, The Naked Mile and Beta House)

oh this is going to be rough......

Undergrads (The Click) a review

In April of 2001 a show was aired on MTV called Undergrads or The Click in certain Countries. It was a show about the misadventures of Nitz Walsh and his childhood friends through out their freshman year of college. Let me first talk about the characters. You have Nitz your typical freshman who hasn't broken out of his awkwardly social shell. Nitz's room mate Cal who happens to be one of his childhood friends. Cal is a ladies man, and women throw themselves at him in droves to which at one point he says "I need a break from all my lady guy friends. I am shooting out air." Rocko the underachiever friend of the Click who goes to a local Community College. Rocko is a drinker, a jerk and loves to alienate people, this ultimately leads him to appear to have no friends outside of Nitz, Gimpy and Cal (even though he claims to hate Cal). Last but not least you have the groups nerd Gimpy. Gimpy is a shut-in megalomaniac who hates the outdoors, jocks and girls (despite falling in love with a female hacker who just so happens to live in the dorm room next to his) being smarter then the rest of his friends he attends Teckerson Tech a school which seems to only have highly intelligent nerds attending.

There is a lot of secondary characters who seem to be more main then secondary like the character Jesse, she is the new friend in the group who Nitz falls in love with after seeing her naked. He ultimately gets shot down by her only to have her fall in love with him by the end of the show. But Nitz's main love interest through out the show is Kimmy Burton who is in love with an openly gay guy named Lance (though she is completely clueless to that fact). That love story is your typical "oh I love her and she doesn't." With the other girl going "Oh yeah cause NO ONE else will love you." While giving the guy the subtle hint that "Hey I am here you dumb fuck." Despite the cliche love interest story. It is a very well made show which leads me to wonder why it was canceled just after one season. Upon research the networks deemed it a financial failure and that is why it was canceled. The creator of the show had said in a blog statement a few years back that he is still interested in getting the second season made. I for one hope it does find away to get made.

If you can get your hands on the DVDs for this show do it. It is a fun show to watch. Or you can watch the show on youtube. Either way you should diffidently give this underrated show a shot.

Calling out a critic

Okay first of all I know that everyone is entitled to an opinion even if said opinion is contrary to my own. But I should hope people are open minded enough to at least hear my side of why I dislike something and not just automatically jump into defense mode. I give you the respect of hearing you out before I tear down your Jericho Wall of fandom. When talking to a critic you have to realize that he or she sets the same standard for what they are reviewing as they set for themselves (at least I do). When going into a movie we go in with an open mind and will watch and tell what we think is wrong and where it can improve knowing full well that the director or artist will not take our opinion into consideration. We review and critique because we have a love for the art of what we are reviewing. Me movies are my review point of choice. While I know a lot of my reviews may come off as biased I give every movie the chance it deserves and if I am feeling generous because someone told me I should give it another shot I will.

When it comes to other reviewers and critics I use the rule of three. I will give that reviewer/critic three chances and will rarely give fourth or fifth chances. Take Film Brain for example, I gave him five chances and by the fifth he had impressed me. I will more likely then not, stop watching something after three tries because three is the baseball rule (you know three strikes and your out). It may not seem fair but that is how I roll.

All I ask in return is that if you are going to call me out, at least give me the same respect I would give you. :)

LOL, OMG Added to the Oxford English Dictionary ♥

So I am sure that many of you around the country and the world have been made aware that the Oxford English Dictionary has Added OMG, LOL and ♥. HOW CAN ♥ BE A WORD. It OMG, LOL are not words they are shorthand acronyms for Oh my god and Laugh out loud. My fear of students handing in text language papers to English teachers may very well become a horrific nightmare come to life. I can see it now.

(This is not a real paper made by a high school it is an example of what I fear)
"Like, OMG, Shakespeare was totally awesome bcause he was like totally loling at the tsp who mocked him. SRSLY."

My brain literally just punched itself for writing like that. It is actions like adding acronyms to the Dictionary A BOOK ABOUT WORDS that just makes me (A self proclaimed member of the Blue Lantern Corp) lose hope in the future of humanity. Text language has places for it's use like Twitter or places where you only have a certain amount of characters to write with. IT DOES NOT BELONG IN EVERYDAY WORDAGE.

LOL,OMG and ♥ should not be placed in the dictionary.

List of Animes I hate with a fired passion

This list of animes was spark by seeing a picture of Naraku posted on someones facebook.

This list is in no particular order but all them deserve so much hate.

1. InuYasha (started off good, but got repetitive)
2. Naruto and Naruto Shipuden
3. Bobo-bobobo-bobo
4. Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny
5. Hamtaro
6. Pokemon (The Orange Island episodes)
7. Super Milk Chan

again this list is in no particular order

The Fates of Spirit World (FCFF FIGHT TWO OF TWO)

In the other world, there exist two forces for good that operate on earth. The soul Society and The Spirit Detectives both have the potential to produce evil beings but for the most part are righteous in their causes. But what would happen if one from each faction were to ever meet, face to face. It is a clash of detectives vs ghost hunters in a battle to see who can hold the title of most badass.

Yusuke Urameshi Vs Ichigo Kurosaki

IN THIS CORNER WITH STRAWBERRY BLOND HAIR STANDING IN AT A STAGGERING SIX FEET THREE INCHES TALLLLLLLL IIIIIICCCCHHHIIIIIGGOOOOO KUROSAKI. Ichigo is a typical anime character with an “I am too good for this bull crap” attitude with a constant scowl on his face. He has the potential to be a good student but never acts on it due to the I don’t cares. At a young age he was able to see into the spirit world seeing ghosts with the potential to be saved or to become hollows. It is in his middle school years that he meets Rukia a Soul Reaper who is in danger and takes up her sword in her place essentially replacing her as a soul reaper. Through training and trails by fire Ichigo has climbed the latter time again to meet the challenges thrown at him

AND IN THIS CORNER WITH BLACK HAIR AND A PISSED OFF ATTITUDE STANDING AT FIVE FEET FIVE INCHES TALL YUSUKE URAMMMMMESHIIII. Yusuke like Ichigo is too good for school but has the reputation of being the biggest punk of his middle school. He is in more fights then he attends class and is known to just leave school when he feels like it. When doing so nine times out of ten ends up in a street fight, usually against his biggest rival. During one fateful day when Yusuke left school early, he was struck down by a car while saving a little boy. He awoke in the spirit world with the offer to return to life as a Spirit Detect with awesome powers. Which grew to the point where he would ultimately become a half demon king.

THE FIGHT:
Both fighters are not going to give each other room to breathe but while Yusuke is a genius of street fights, Ichigo fights with a sword. But that has never stopped Yusuke in the past. Once it starts coming down to powers both fighters are impressively tough. The only problem being Yusuke’s powers are ranged to up close and personal. If he can dodge the attacks of Ichigo’s Zanbakto and land a punch powered up by his spirit energy Ichigo would get messed up. It is an even fight until both are forced to tap into their dark sides once this happens the fight will kick into over drive and become bloody. It is a first for the FCFF but I am calling a draw.

A fight to save or damn Boston (FCFF fight one of two)

And Sheppard’s we shall be, for thee my lord for thee. Power hath descended forth from thy hand, so that our feet may swiftly carry out thy commands. So we shall flow forth a river onto thee, teaming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomeni Patri Et Fili Spiritus Sancti.

*BANG BANG*

This day the seventeenth of March the day known as Saint Patrick’s Day, the day Saint Patrick banished the snakes from Ireland during his forty day fast. On this day it, it should be so fitting to pit The MacManus Brothers against the Cops of Boston.

The Boondock Saints Vs William Costigan Jr and Collin Sullivan

Bio: Conner MacManus, even tempered, logical and always thinking a few steps ahead before leaps, the brains behind the muscle. Tattooed on his hand is the word “Veritas” which in Latin means truth. Do not let his nature fool you he is not someone to be messed with in a fight especially when it comes to his brother Murphy. While Murphy is celebrating with the cops for helping with dealing with the people who mugged them, Conner is contacting the Russian’s bosses to find out what was with the message on the beeper. Take the fight to the men who tried to kill them.

Bio: Murphy MacManus, hot headed, emotional and quick to act both in action and in wit, he will leap first and ask questions later. Tattooed on his hand is the Latin word “Aequitas” which means Justice. His impulse leads him to argue with his brother and into danger but through sheer dumb luck they make it out alright.
Veritas and Aequitas a force to be wreckoned with.

Bio: William Costigan Jr, a cop undercover in the Irish mob who maybe not coincidentally worked with the Irish Mob from a very young age. Despite his best efforts to play both sides of the coin he ends up being discovered by a person within the BPD who is also tied to the Irish Mob

Bio: Collin Sullivan, trained to be a mole within the police Sullivan knows his role to protect the Irish Mob bosses and hides the fact well. Well enough to even fool his superiors into thinking that there is mole within his crew.
Two Crooked cops both with opposing goals but make one hell of a team if you were to put them together.

The FIGHT
It is Saints vs Crooked Cops, while both sides have potential to fail miserably, I for one have to give this fight to the brothers. Why it is simple because their team work is better, yes they fight but they are brothers, that is just what brothers do. They are also very meticulous about leaving no traceable evidence at a scene. This alone would throw Costigan and Sullivan through many loops to a point where they cannot even trust each other. It will end with the blood of the wicked cops being spilled on the floor by the Saints. With their father saying . "Never shall innocent blood be shed. Yet the blood of the wicked shall flow like a river. The three shall spread their blackened wings and be the vengeful striking hammer of god. "

An Outlaw In The Stars

From the opening scene talking of epic space travel to the Opening Song which will blow your mind Outlaw Star is an Anime that will not disappoint you. Memories of this epic space travel anime to this day inspires me for my various character creations. Gene Starwind, calm, cool, collected even in the face of danger. His only weakness is his growing love of the Outlaw Star's AI Melfina. Though the relationship between the two seems strained you can tell Gene deeply cares for her. His relationship with his partner James Hawking a.k.a Jim is like a relationship between brothers, constant bickering, making fun of each, and ultimately protecting one another. Along the way Gene is joined in his adventure by women who are out to kill him like the lovely and deadly "Twilight" Suzuka and the feral beauty Aisha Clanclan of the Ctarl-Ctarl race.

All you need to know about Outlaw Star is this, it is an epic space anime mixed with a gripping story and a cast of characters that will kick your ass and leave you begging for more. I give this anime an nine out of ten.

Original Glee

This show is a guilty pleasure for me. I watch it cause it kinda reminds me of my days in high school when I was in choir. Minus the slushy throwing and the random singing of songs through out the school.... Singing popular songs was not on the choir directors mind, he always had us singing showtunes and classical songs. But that is not the point of this post.

Tonights' glee showed that a choir can do original songs if given the chance. The original music sang by the cast was to say the least very good. Both songs, had a nice ring to them on the ears. The beat of all the songs felt in place to the song it was being put behind. Ranging from funny to controversial to melencholy and longing to uplifting all the songs were a joy to listen to. I do not say that often about songs very rarely do I give songs praise like this.

I could be wrong a professional judge of music I am not. But opinions are like assholes everybody has one.

Shameless: Just as good in America as it is in England

The first season of Shameless has been blowing me away, great writing (or should I say script adaptation)great cast and excellently shot on Camera. It is the type of show that will punch you in the face with it crude talking cast, punch you in the gut with the issues that the family goes through to survive. But at the same time, it leaves you wanting more. I know I know people will hate on the Americanized version but it is a damn good show. If you wrote it off because it didn't look like something you would enjoy, I am telling you, give it a second chance. Tonight (March 13th)episode was amazing and the twist toward the end with Ian's character, that threw me through a loop. The whole episode my mouth open in shock and awe at the drama and amazingness of the story being told. Not many shows can do that to me. Bravo Shameless Bravo

A big thank you

I can not express how thankful I am to the people who read this blog and the people retweet my tweets about my posts on twitter. Thank you all without your help I do not think this blog would as great as it has become.

Please continue to comment and tell me what I need to improve on. Without your help I can not grow. :)

I Wish I Was 17 Again

Seventeen again is a movie I should I hate on principal, but I can not bring myself to hate this movie. Why because it made me laugh. "If you can make the police laugh you have a chance." Gabriel Iglesias. It is a movie done in the style of "It's A Wonderful Life." Where the main character sees his guardian angel jump off a bridge, main character falls off the bridge and is put into a situation where something has changed. In this case the thing that has changed is the main character's age going from mid thirty something to seventeen. But not being placed into the time when he was seventeen, but being seventeen in the current time line. So Mathew Perry's character turns into Zack Effron and goes to school with his two kids.

By not being directly pulled out of the time line, he has to manage a pending divorce to the woman he still loves and has to deal with helping his kids who he isn't close too. This movie is surprisingly good, the concept while cliche fits in with the story and the characters. It does have problems with some of the dialog being a bit unbelievable, and some of the casting could have been better. Other then that I give this movie an eight out of ten.

Tactics of the tactless

It has recently been brought to my attention by a friend that the GOP is pushing to make it tougher for college students to vote and make it so that every person going to vote must show State ID and proof of citizenship. To me this tells me that the GOP is trying to suppress the voting rights of our country's young people and members of the miniority races. With a push like this just a year before the Next Presidential election, it seems to me like they are trying to tip the scales in their favor (Which is not odd) but to go to this magnitude, come on.

In a recent speech given by House Speaker William O'Brien to the Tea Party he was quoted saying about the validity of College Age Voters as "foolish" "Voting as a liberal. That is what kids do." He also went onto say that College Student "lack life experience." and "just vote their feelings."

I know many conservative college age students and I know just as many Liberal college age students. To group EVERY college age student into the liberal category wouldn't that alienate your younger members. Just saying. This whole situation says to me that the GOP fears the minority and just legal age voters.

The Tactics of the tactless are as follows Fear Tactics to scare people into voting for them because it is the "safe" thing to do and Voter manipulation.

I just hope that the Supporters of the GOP see through this, because not only will this effect Democrats but it will effect the Republicans also.

One and a Half Men (Sheen Fired)

Actor and recent media darling for being the town psycho Charlie Sheen was terminated from his job on Two and A Half Men this past Monday afternoon. Sheen has since then lashed out in interviews calling the producers "Juvenile Infants." According to Sheen in his interview with Access Hollywood he stated that he had not heard from CBS or Warner Bros except through a text message. If that is true it is not professional and it seems like something Charlie Harper would do when he wants to break off a relationship that is getting to serious, just saying.

Rumors have been circulating that the producers of Two and A Half Men have approached Glee's John Stamos, which Stamos had deigned being offered the role on his twitter account. But as everyone on the internet knows time goes by in the blink of an eye and it is very possible that the producers did. Only time will tell and maybe Stamos is trying to pull a next Doctor Who and keep the acceptance of the role close to his chest. If you are in the media dark and did watch Television through out the 80's and 90's John Stamos was Hermes Constopalis A.K.A Uncle Jesse on Full House.

As a fan of the series Two and A Half Men, I am saddened to see Sheen being treated in such a manor. But as a critic I saw this coming, the dude had it coming. Pulling a Megan Fox and blasting the producers of the show. But unlike Megan Fox, Sheen has enough talent to pull himself out of this rut and get work.

Generation Evolution

Today March 6th marks the release of Poke'mon black and white in America and the release of the 5th generation of the game. It has been a long journey for this hand held game which has grown with the generation it started with and brings in new players with each version.

1st Generation

A simple game, no running, a one speed bicycle and 151 Poke'mon to catch, battle and trade. Released in North America in 1998 it captivated an audience young and old with it's style and ease of play and memorable characters.

2nd Generation

With the Second Generation came, an addition 150 Poke'mon, a new story, 16 badges to collect instead of the Standard 8 and a more menacing rival. The introduction of Apricorns which were used to make specialized Poke'Balls. And it was the first Poke'Mon game to utilize different times of day. Bringing about the concept of Poke'mon Breeding. Fans of the 1st Gen returned and enjoyed the new game on the Gameboy Color when it was released in North America in the year 2000

3rd Generation (Advanced Generation

The third generation introduced not only another additional 150 Poke'mon to the mix but it was the first game in the series to offer the players the choice of playing as a male or female character. Not one but two different bicycles and it had two distinct enemy teams trying to take over the region for their own ends. The standard 8 badges remain in this game. It also marked the start of the Poke'mon contests where trainers could put their Poke'mon in a competition to see who had the better Poke'mon. Double Battles were also introduced into the mix in this game. Released in North America in 2003 on the Gameboy Advanced it showed a sign of decrease in the original fans returning but it brought in new players to carry on the games legacy.

4th Generation (DS Generation)

The 4th generation carried on the traditions of it's three predecessors and added yet more additions to the game adding yet another 150 pokemon. Nothing really new added to the mix other then the features of the touch screen for The DS like an itemfinder that didn't require you to open your bag and get it out. Another new feature to the 4th gen was the utilization of WiFi, connecting your DS to the internet allowed you to trade with other Trainers World Wide. This generation hit the North American Shores in 2007

5th Generation

The current generation has been toted as going back to the basics. Meaning there is still 150 pokemon, but they are all specific to the new Region. Trainers can not catch pokemon from the other 4 regions, atleast I am assuming until after you beat the Regions Elite four. New to the game series is the triple battle meaning it is 3 Poke'mon battling at the same time. It is also introducing the concept of season changing, in game time the season will change along with which poke'mon show up in which area depending on the season it is. Also new to the game is version specific areas. In one version there is an area that does not show up in the other along with Poke'Mon that are specific to that area.

So I hope you enjoyed the trip down Nostalgia lane, as I briefly recapped the history of the Poke'Mon games.

List of Anime I Recommend to people.

A question I get from time to time is "What anime do you suggest that I watch if I want to get into Anime?" Well to be fair, I am not the type of person you should ask, my knowledge of Anime is limited. You would be better off asking someone like Marzgurl or JesuOtaku two anime reviewers I really respect. But if i had to recommend anime to someone I usually suggest these.

1. Yu Yu Hakusho
2. Hellsing
3. Trigun
4. Dragonball Z
5. Chobits
6. Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
7. Gundam 08th MS Team
8. Dragonball
9. Starblazers
10. The Ronin Warriors

I would just like to point out I am by no means an expert on Anime. But I think I am an okay judge of good animes. What ever you do, do not watch Bobobo-bo bo-bobo it is crap. I am all for wacked out crack anime, but that anime is just plain bad.

You Shall Not Pass......Do not underestimate me old man

I know that I usually only post one FCFF a week but, last night I was inspired by a debate with a friend on who the better wizard was. So instead of blogging the conversation. I decided to make a special FCFF.

Raistlin Majere Vs Gandalf

Bio: Raistlin Majere, Archmage of the Order of Black Robes and TRUE master of the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas. A physically weak and sickly man, even before the Test of High Sorcery forever shattered his health. He is the youngest mage in Krynn history to ever take and pass the Test of High Sorcery. It was during the test, that Raistlin made a deal with a lich, unknowingly giving the lich exactly what he was a looking for. From the moment the lich entered Raistlin's body till the time Raistlin expelled it using the Dragonorb, they would fight a battle of wills on a daily basis. During the Chronicles Trilogy up until midway through Dragons of Springs Dawn, Raistlin had worn The Robes of the order of Red Mages. It was during his time away from the group that he switched from red to black and ultimatly concocted the plan to bring down the Queen of Darkness from the inside out. Once the war of the lance ended, Raistlin Cloistered himself in his tower studying all manner of things from exotic and dangerous spells, to history, to language. Before the events of Legends, Raistlin took on an apprentice Dalamar The Dark, a dark elf acting as a spy for the Conclave. It was during the Legends Trilogy that Raistlin would go back in time to confront the man who would eventually become the Lich living in his body Fistindantalus. Using his cunning and charm, Raistlin became one of Fistindantalus's apprentices got to know the man's weaknesses and then fought him to the death and took his place to keep the Flow of history the same knowing full well an ever present watchful eye was recording the events. Raistlin along with his twin brother would follow the path of history until they reached the place where Raistlin would try for godhood. Raistlin is a dangerous, cunning, manipulative and sometimes sweet wizard. He is cold and calculating to which many of his friends turn to him for advice when it comes to making plans. Bitter and jaded from all the tormenting he recieved throughout his life, he uses his emotional detachment to keep himself in a position to never be hurt by people. His power as a wizard is something to be feared, had he not had a sudden change of heart at the end of Legends, he would have destroyed Takahisis and taken her place as the God of Time and Darkness.

Bio: A member of and later leader of the Istari a seemingly immortal race of wizards who can only be killed in violent ways hence why they seem to have particularly long lives. Gandalf is kind and compassionate, yet can be stern and quick to point out your short comings. His temper is legendary and so is his fight with the Balrog having died in the fight only to be brought back to life to continue the fight with Sauron. Gandalf has been seen to do many extraordinary feats of magic as well as feats of physical combat with his sword Glamdring the counter part to Bilbo and later Frodo's short sword Sting. Gandalf was the one who defeated Saruman the former leader of the Istari and replaced him.

It is a battle of two great wizards and it is going to be epic. Raistlin while appearing to be outmatched even by the old wizard Gandalf, appearances can be deceiving. I see this fight going down to the wire with both Wizards spent from casting and casting at each other. I know I am gonna get A LOT of heat for this but I give the win to Raistlin. ON THE GROUNDS, that he has the advantage of having Fistindantalus's Blood Stone. A Stone which heals any and all wounds inflicted on holder.
