Divisional Championship round

Besides for super bowl Sunday, this Sunday is the biggest day of the season for both divisions four teams will be competing for the chance to play in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl.  Two games four teams who have fought kicking and screaming to reach the top of their division.  Some teams have had a rough patch over the past couple of seasons making it to the wildcard or first round and then losing.  Others have something to prove to their fans. Enough who ha, lets get to the Break downs.

Sunday: 3:00pm
Patriots Vs Ravens

Out of all the teams going into this round The Ravens have the healthiest Roster with only one Probable playing Injury.  They have had a hard fought year and their preformance last week was good, not great but good.  Just like the Broncos they have to challenge a team that is very dangerous at home.  Look back at last week and you will see why.  Coming into this round off a commanding victory over the Broncos, The Patriots have a vigor to them hasn't been seen in a few seasons. With a lot injuries most of them questionable to play and a hand full of probables.  The Ravens if they can pull their offense together and keep the Pressure on Tom Brady they may squeak out a win.  But even with the odds stacked against him Tom Brady has a nack for pulling together his team.  I am giving this win Sunday in the AFC to Brady and the Patriots.

Sunday: 6:30pm
Giants vs 49ers

Many doubters thought the Giants would have fallen flat on their faces in the Wildcard round and then again last Sunday to the Top Favorite to reach the Super Bowl uncontested.  Even with a fate defying run in the playoffs the Giants are going to California against one of the toughest Defenses in the league.  With a huge amount injuries and Eli Manning Probable to play who fully participated in practice this week even while sick.  The Niners are going into this round relatively healthy with only 4 people on their injury list.  The 49ners won last sunday by the skin of their teeth.  As hungry for a Super Bowl as team they will be facing a renewed moral Giants team who curb stomped The Packers who had up until last Sunday pretty much Dominated the league.  As much as I want the Giants to win I am going to call in favor of the 49ers.  Both teams have grown since they last played each other but more is on the line this time around.

I will be back with the results Sunday after the Giants game.  Until then feel free to call me an idiot in the comments below.  Have a great time watching these games.

Divisional Round over and the results

An amazing day of football has been played with the Ravens beating the Texans and the Giants ending the Season of the Packers who most people believed would be going back to back in the Super Bowl this season.  As for my Predictions for today.  I was right on my call of the Ravens beating the Texans.  I however should have called the Giants to win, but such is life and no one is perfect.  The Giants beating the Packers in this way was surprising to me but I did however say in my prediction post.  "The only way I see the Giants winning this game is if Eli Manning can get the momentum going early in the game and keeping it going."  I was right on that aspect.  But it wasn't just Manning, it was a combined Effort of the Offense and The Defense.  The biggest problem for the Packers today was not being able to keep their hands on the ball when it was thrown to them and The fact that the most rushing yards gained came from Aaron Rodgers.

Next week we have The NFC and The AFC championship games of The Ravens Vs The Patriots and The Giants Vs The 49ers.  Click back over here on Thursday for my Predictions and as always Thank you for reading.

Prediction Record thus far 6 games predicted right and 2 games predicted wrong.

Saturday Night Round One

Saturday night is over and two games of four are done.  As predicted The 49ers beat the Saints in a well fought battle.  In a record breaking game with 45 points The Patriots steamrolled the Broncos, officially redeeming themselves for the last time these two teams met in the post season.  For all my hatred of Tim Tebow, he will be a quarterback to watch.  One half of this round is done and I will be back tomorrow night to fill everyone in on whether or not my predictions on this round came to pass.

Down to Eight

In this coming weekends round of the NFL playoffs we have eight teams jockeying for a spot in their respective Conference championship round. All four of these games are going to be hard fought with each team just as hungry as the other for that chance to be crowned best in the conference and ultimately crowned best in the entire league. I don't have to stress how important this round is because it will set the tone for divisional championship.

Saturday Game:1; 4:30pm New Orleans Vs San Fransisco: My Prediction: Though it is going to be a rough and tumble game with a few lead changes here and there. I feel the saints are going into this round not healthy enough to finish the job. The Extra week of rest will have done the 49ers good and I see them coming out on top.

Game 2: 8:00pm Denver Vs New England: My Prediction: Like I said Earlier this game is going to be the game to watch this weekend save for the Giants Packers game on Sunday. With some gut clinching moments I see the Patriots ultimately coming out on top.

SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY Game1: 1:00pm My Prediction: I am going to give this one to the Ravens on the grounds that their roster is healthier, better prepared and rested. It is football it can go either way. But ultimately it will come down with The Ravens on top.

Game 2: 4:30pm New York Vs Green Bay: My Prediction: While I do not like predicting this game one way or another because I tend to Jinx the Giants when I do. I am going to play conservative and give a begrudging victory to the packers. They have the better record of 15-1 to the Giants 9-7. Aaron Rodgers is one hell of a Quarterback. But in all fairness this is going to be a nail biting game considering how dangerous The Giants have proven to be in the Second half of games. The only way I see this prediction not coming true is if Eli Manning can get the momentum going early on in the game and keeping it going all game.

Thank for taking the time to read this post and I will post the Results of these predictions on Sunday night. Until then feel free to discuss in the comment section on how much of an idiot you think I am for my Predictions.

A few days ago I posted that there would possibly be two new authors joining the team. Well I am happy to say they have accepted the invitation and I happily welcome them to the team. As the days go on and everyone gets settled in I will talk to them on schedules and a possible name change to the blog. Most because it isn't just me talking anymore. :) I have some other big plans in the works and I looking forward to revealing them as the plans become more solid. So please welcome the new authors warmly and happily.

NFL Wildcard Sunday

Well folks the last of the wildcard games have been played. I was right on 1 out of 2 for sunday. In a shocking display the Denver Broncos beat the Steelers in Overtime in the first ever non-sudden death Overtime in NFL history (according to the TV station playing the game). I was happy to see my Giants beat the Falcons in a humiliating 24 to 2 win earlier in the day.

Later in the week I will give out another set of predictions for the first round of the playoffs.

Predictions for Wild Card Round of NFL Playoffs

This weekend we have the Wildcard Round of the NFL Playoffs a time of the football year when we have a chance to see who the Underdogs will be going up against teams that already got a playoff birth.

Saturday
Bengals Vs Texans: This will be a tough game to call considering the Texans only beat the Bengals by 1 point in their last meeting. Going into the wildcard round the Texans have the better record. The Texans are going into the playoffs with a seemingly healthy roster with no one on their injured list. The same can be said about the Bengals but I still am giving the slight edge to the Texans.

Lions Vs Saints: The Lions have had a very surprising season winning 10 out of 16 games in the regular season. The saints are also having a decent season. I expect this game to be rough and tumble for both teams. But I have to give this game to the Saints. Coming into the Wildcard Round off a lose to the Packers it will be tough for the Lions and considering the last time The Lions played The Saints they lost 31 to 17.

Sunday:
Steelers Vs Broncos: The Broncos have had a pretty decent season thus far with young Tim Tebow (A quaterback who had been considered by the Patriots) having a surprising season with this odd praying before taking the field coining the phrase Tebowing by Comedy Show Tosh.0. The Steelers are no laughing matter however they will be tough for the Broncos to beat considering Tebows track record against top ranked Quarterbacks. Love him or hate him Rothlesburger is one of the best QB's in the NFL. But I am giving this win to the steelers unless Rothlessburger's Ankle injury becomes a factor.

Giants vs Falcons: I hate talking about one of my favorite teams considering my track record of jinxing them the day of the game. The Giants have had a shake season losing to teams they should have been able to beat outright and winning against teams they should have lost too. The Falcons have also had a less then stellar season. But the game should be hard fought for both teams. I am going to be biased and give the win to the Giants.

Please keep in mind that these are only predictions and how I think the games will go. So please by all means discuss and tell me I am an idiot in the comment section.

Obligatory explaination of why I like Anime

Many people have asked me why I like Anime as much as I do. So to respond I have decided to tell all of you why. It is quiet simple really. The animation of Anime far surpasses that of everyday American cartoons, the rich detail, the ability to make something look close to live action. Also the epicness of the stories fascinate me, it ranges from Outer space to magical fantasy in a modern setting and even middle and high school life. In particular I like the slice of life and the Outer Space Mecha genre animes. Out of all the the Outer Space Anime I like Outlaw Star the best all though there is only twenty four episodes it is an amazing anime that I go back and watch over and over.
Example of an Anime Character
Example of an American Cartoon Character I will openly admit that not all American cartoons lack the detail that goes into Anime just take a look at our Comics they are some of the best designed and drawn characters around. Except of course Rob Liefed's characters (with exception to Deadpool) with their out of proportioned arms and weird physically impossible movements.

Catching up with Justified

Thanks to a very Generous donator who wishes to remain anonymous gave me some money in order to buy and review Justified Season 2. I had originally only caught the first five episodes of the season and then forgot about it. But now I have the chance to watch the whole season. So I will be watching the episodes one by one and then review the season. I would again like to thank this donator hope that he or she likes the up coming review.

UFC Ultimate Trainer (PS3 Version) 1st impressions

I recieved UFC Ultimate Fitness Trainer for Christmas Wii Version. After switching it for the PS3 version I then also bought the Move Bundle cause I needed it to play the game which is fine. My first session of it kicked my ass it was intense and I felt muscles I didn't know I had burning afterward. I will stick with this and I enjoy it.
