Divisional Championship round

Besides for super bowl Sunday, this Sunday is the biggest day of the season for both divisions four teams will be competing for the chance to play in Indianapolis for the Super Bowl.  Two games four teams who have fought kicking and screaming to reach the top of their division.  Some teams have had a rough patch over the past couple of seasons making it to the wildcard or first round and then losing.  Others have something to prove to their fans. Enough who ha, lets get to the Break downs.

Sunday: 3:00pm
Patriots Vs Ravens

Out of all the teams going into this round The Ravens have the healthiest Roster with only one Probable playing Injury.  They have had a hard fought year and their preformance last week was good, not great but good.  Just like the Broncos they have to challenge a team that is very dangerous at home.  Look back at last week and you will see why.  Coming into this round off a commanding victory over the Broncos, The Patriots have a vigor to them hasn't been seen in a few seasons. With a lot injuries most of them questionable to play and a hand full of probables.  The Ravens if they can pull their offense together and keep the Pressure on Tom Brady they may squeak out a win.  But even with the odds stacked against him Tom Brady has a nack for pulling together his team.  I am giving this win Sunday in the AFC to Brady and the Patriots.

Sunday: 6:30pm
Giants vs 49ers

Many doubters thought the Giants would have fallen flat on their faces in the Wildcard round and then again last Sunday to the Top Favorite to reach the Super Bowl uncontested.  Even with a fate defying run in the playoffs the Giants are going to California against one of the toughest Defenses in the league.  With a huge amount injuries and Eli Manning Probable to play who fully participated in practice this week even while sick.  The Niners are going into this round relatively healthy with only 4 people on their injury list.  The 49ners won last sunday by the skin of their teeth.  As hungry for a Super Bowl as team they will be facing a renewed moral Giants team who curb stomped The Packers who had up until last Sunday pretty much Dominated the league.  As much as I want the Giants to win I am going to call in favor of the 49ers.  Both teams have grown since they last played each other but more is on the line this time around.

I will be back with the results Sunday after the Giants game.  Until then feel free to call me an idiot in the comments below.  Have a great time watching these games.
