Shameless: Just as good in America as it is in England
The first season of Shameless has been blowing me away, great writing (or should I say script adaptation)great cast and excellently shot on Camera. It is the type of show that will punch you in the face with it crude talking cast, punch you in the gut with the issues that the family goes through to survive. But at the same time, it leaves you wanting more. I know I know people will hate on the Americanized version but it is a damn good show. If you wrote it off because it didn't look like something you would enjoy, I am telling you, give it a second chance. Tonight (March 13th)episode was amazing and the twist toward the end with Ian's character, that threw me through a loop. The whole episode my mouth open in shock and awe at the drama and amazingness of the story being told. Not many shows can do that to me. Bravo Shameless Bravo
A big thank you

I Wish I Was 17 Again
Seventeen again is a movie I should I hate on principal, but I can not bring myself to hate this movie. Why because it made me laugh. "If you can make the police laugh you have a chance." Gabriel Iglesias. It is a movie done in the style of "It's A Wonderful Life." Where the main character sees his guardian angel jump off a bridge, main character falls off the bridge and is put into a situation where something has changed. In this case the thing that has changed is the main character's age going from mid thirty something to seventeen. But not being placed into the time when he was seventeen, but being seventeen in the current time line. So Mathew Perry's character turns into Zack Effron and goes to school with his two kids.
By not being directly pulled out of the time line, he has to manage a pending divorce to the woman he still loves and has to deal with helping his kids who he isn't close too. This movie is surprisingly good, the concept while cliche fits in with the story and the characters. It does have problems with some of the dialog being a bit unbelievable, and some of the casting could have been better. Other then that I give this movie an eight out of ten.

Tactics of the tactless
It has recently been brought to my attention by a friend that the GOP is pushing to make it tougher for college students to vote and make it so that every person going to vote must show State ID and proof of citizenship. To me this tells me that the GOP is trying to suppress the voting rights of our country's young people and members of the miniority races. With a push like this just a year before the Next Presidential election, it seems to me like they are trying to tip the scales in their favor (Which is not odd) but to go to this magnitude, come on.
In a recent speech given by House Speaker William O'Brien to the Tea Party he was quoted saying about the validity of College Age Voters as "foolish" "Voting as a liberal. That is what kids do." He also went onto say that College Student "lack life experience." and "just vote their feelings."
I know many conservative college age students and I know just as many Liberal college age students. To group EVERY college age student into the liberal category wouldn't that alienate your younger members. Just saying. This whole situation says to me that the GOP fears the minority and just legal age voters.
The Tactics of the tactless are as follows Fear Tactics to scare people into voting for them because it is the "safe" thing to do and Voter manipulation.
I just hope that the Supporters of the GOP see through this, because not only will this effect Democrats but it will effect the Republicans also.

One and a Half Men (Sheen Fired)
Actor and recent media darling for being the town psycho Charlie Sheen was terminated from his job on Two and A Half Men this past Monday afternoon. Sheen has since then lashed out in interviews calling the producers "Juvenile Infants." According to Sheen in his interview with Access Hollywood he stated that he had not heard from CBS or Warner Bros except through a text message. If that is true it is not professional and it seems like something Charlie Harper would do when he wants to break off a relationship that is getting to serious, just saying.
Rumors have been circulating that the producers of Two and A Half Men have approached Glee's John Stamos, which Stamos had deigned being offered the role on his twitter account. But as everyone on the internet knows time goes by in the blink of an eye and it is very possible that the producers did. Only time will tell and maybe Stamos is trying to pull a next Doctor Who and keep the acceptance of the role close to his chest. If you are in the media dark and did watch Television through out the 80's and 90's John Stamos was Hermes Constopalis A.K.A Uncle Jesse on Full House.
As a fan of the series Two and A Half Men, I am saddened to see Sheen being treated in such a manor. But as a critic I saw this coming, the dude had it coming. Pulling a Megan Fox and blasting the producers of the show. But unlike Megan Fox, Sheen has enough talent to pull himself out of this rut and get work.

Generation Evolution
Today March 6th marks the release of Poke'mon black and white in America and the release of the 5th generation of the game. It has been a long journey for this hand held game which has grown with the generation it started with and brings in new players with each version.
1st Generation
A simple game, no running, a one speed bicycle and 151 Poke'mon to catch, battle and trade. Released in North America in 1998 it captivated an audience young and old with it's style and ease of play and memorable characters.
2nd Generation
With the Second Generation came, an addition 150 Poke'mon, a new story, 16 badges to collect instead of the Standard 8 and a more menacing rival. The introduction of Apricorns which were used to make specialized Poke'Balls. And it was the first Poke'Mon game to utilize different times of day. Bringing about the concept of Poke'mon Breeding. Fans of the 1st Gen returned and enjoyed the new game on the Gameboy Color when it was released in North America in the year 2000
3rd Generation (Advanced Generation
The third generation introduced not only another additional 150 Poke'mon to the mix but it was the first game in the series to offer the players the choice of playing as a male or female character. Not one but two different bicycles and it had two distinct enemy teams trying to take over the region for their own ends. The standard 8 badges remain in this game. It also marked the start of the Poke'mon contests where trainers could put their Poke'mon in a competition to see who had the better Poke'mon. Double Battles were also introduced into the mix in this game. Released in North America in 2003 on the Gameboy Advanced it showed a sign of decrease in the original fans returning but it brought in new players to carry on the games legacy.
4th Generation (DS Generation)
The 4th generation carried on the traditions of it's three predecessors and added yet more additions to the game adding yet another 150 pokemon. Nothing really new added to the mix other then the features of the touch screen for The DS like an itemfinder that didn't require you to open your bag and get it out. Another new feature to the 4th gen was the utilization of WiFi, connecting your DS to the internet allowed you to trade with other Trainers World Wide. This generation hit the North American Shores in 2007
5th Generation
The current generation has been toted as going back to the basics. Meaning there is still 150 pokemon, but they are all specific to the new Region. Trainers can not catch pokemon from the other 4 regions, atleast I am assuming until after you beat the Regions Elite four. New to the game series is the triple battle meaning it is 3 Poke'mon battling at the same time. It is also introducing the concept of season changing, in game time the season will change along with which poke'mon show up in which area depending on the season it is. Also new to the game is version specific areas. In one version there is an area that does not show up in the other along with Poke'Mon that are specific to that area.
So I hope you enjoyed the trip down Nostalgia lane, as I briefly recapped the history of the Poke'Mon games.

List of Anime I Recommend to people.
A question I get from time to time is "What anime do you suggest that I watch if I want to get into Anime?" Well to be fair, I am not the type of person you should ask, my knowledge of Anime is limited. You would be better off asking someone like Marzgurl or JesuOtaku two anime reviewers I really respect. But if i had to recommend anime to someone I usually suggest these.
1. Yu Yu Hakusho
2. Hellsing
3. Trigun
4. Dragonball Z
5. Chobits
6. Gundam 0083 Stardust Memory
7. Gundam 08th MS Team
8. Dragonball
9. Starblazers
10. The Ronin Warriors
I would just like to point out I am by no means an expert on Anime. But I think I am an okay judge of good animes. What ever you do, do not watch Bobobo-bo bo-bobo it is crap. I am all for wacked out crack anime, but that anime is just plain bad.
