This is one Videogame, I am great at and I am passing on my trade secrets to you. The only person better at this game then me is my best friend of 14 years Brian. We each got this game when it first came out and we literally spent the entire summer mastering this game. We now play this game and dominate at it while playing drunk.
Here is the tips I can share with you
1. Be Koopa Troopa, he has the best handling and with a decent top speed he is diffidently a great pick for racer.
2. The Green Koopa Shells. You can use these in two ways and every Let's Play I have ever seen only uses the Green Shell as a projectile and not a mine. By pressing d-Pad down and A you can lay the Green Koopa Shell like you can normally lay down a Banana Peel. This comes in hand in the harder CC's.
3. Tap the Breaks around sharp corners this will help you recover faster on the big turns and can shave off seconds to your overall time.
4. The Harder the CC the closer you have to be, use the Red Koopa Shell. In 100cc and 150cc the CPU players will be able to better avoid the red shell at longer distances. if you can get a point blank shot in 150cc i suggest using it cause that will send who is ever in front closer to the back of the pack and will not be able to recover.
5. The Lightning Bolt is rare and is by far one of the best Weapons in the game, cause it gives you the greatest advantage. It shrinks all of your opponents for a few seconds. This allows you to catch up if you are in a tight spot or create a bigger gap for the lead. If you have it USE IT.
6. I am not sure if you can get it out of side Battle Mode but the Ghost Weapon will make you invisible for a few seconds.
7. Short Cuts are your friends, there is one in each course, some require the Feather which makes you jump high and some require timing and the mushroom. Find them they will help you.
8. Remember the CPU Players Cheat like a mofo, do not expect them to play fair especially in 150cc.
Follow these tips and you will be a more Successful Super Mario Kart Racer

Less then one week to Superbowl XLV
We are closing in to the end of the Season, the NFL having made the decision to have the Pro-Bowl one week before the Superbowl. We have two teams who have multiple Superbowls under their belts. The Pittsburgh Steelers and The Green Bay Packers
Steelers Record this Season (Pre-Superbowl)
W:12 - L:4 - T:0
Superbowl Wins: 6 (IX,X,XIII,XIV,XL,XLIII
Packers Record this Season (Pre-Superbowl)
W:10 - L:6 - T:0
Superbowl Wins: 4(I,II,XXXI,XXXII)
Both of these teams have a long history of Winning Coaches and Seasons and even more seasons of heartache just like any other team in the NFL
Defensive Breakdown:
The Pittsburgh Steelers: have the number one rated Defense in the league. 1st in PTS and 1st in Rushing Yards allowed. With Their PTS Average for the Season being 14.5 PTS a game and only allowing 62.8 Rushing Yards a game and being 12th in the league for Passing Yards allowed at 214.1 yards a game which totals to an average of 276.8 Yards allowed a game. The fans call the Steeler Defense The Steel Curtain II which pays homage to the Steeler Defense of Old under the Leadership of Quarterback hall of famer Terry Bradshaw.
The Green Bay Packers: Ranked third in the League Overall defensively 2nd in PTS, 5th in total yards, 5th passing YDS, 18th in Rushing yards. Green Bay defense men have a lot of sacks this season.
Defensively this game is going to be Brutal for both teams. So pack your snacks and drinks and prepare for a low scoring heavy hitting game. Possible ways around this. IF the Steelers bring their A Running game the Packers will fall apart. IF Aaron Rodgers can keep his team offensively sound and passing while keeping Troy Polamalu in check (who has been a dangerous defensive weapon in the back field and switching it up to Front Field) The Packers may be able to score a decent ammount of points.
Offensive Breakdown:
The Steelers: Are ranked 9th overall on Offense, Ben Rothlesburger (Big Ben) Leads the Steelers with Confidence and knowledge but his protection while in the pocket is lacking, mainly due to Offensive injuries on the Line. Had The Steelers Offensive Line men stayed Healthy this season, I would have seen The Steelers with a Higher Offense Rank.
The Packers: Just like in Defense they are Ranked Third overall in the League, Aaron Rodgers is a sound and True Quarterback, and spreads out Rushing and Passing really well. The Offensive Line is pretty sound for the Packers but not unbeatable. As is any team, no team is unbeatable, it really falls to the Quarterback to keep the team Motivated.
Offensively This game is not going to be that great, It will really depend on who gains the most Momentum and who can lead their team better. Rodgers and Rothlesburger are great leaders for their teams. I just do not see this being a High Scoring Superbowl, I see it being pure defensive.
IF I HAD TO CHOOSE RIGHT NOW
I am going to have to go with the Packers, why because they have managed to stay healthy through out the season, If they can find away to get around the Steel Curtain II The Pack is going to win.
BUT I AM NOT CHOOSING RIGHT NOW
That is my thoughts, in the comment Section give me your thoughts on how you think Superbowl XLV will go down
Will you be Taken for a ride by Takers
When I see Hayden Christensen in a top billing for a movie I get rather scared, because he has a tendency to fuck a movie up. Jon Lovittz may be movie cancer, but Hayden Christensen is movie AIDS. So naturally my first instinct was to throw up the avoid this movie at all costs flag. But he was highly out shined and blended with other actors of higher caliber to vaccinate his suckiness. This movie has a cornucopia of rappers and action stars and oh Matt Damon makes an appearance.
This movie is dark not in the sense that it is depressing and a bloodbath. But in the sense that the lighting is off in places and hard to see what is going on in other places. The dialog itself is good, the acting for a bunch of rappers is really well done especially in the scenes where they are talking business. Paul Walker I think has fallen into a cast type of playing criminals but he seems to fit well in the cast. Matt Damon I didn't expect much out of, but he played the detective role he was given really well.
I give this movie a 7 out of 10 lightning is an issue in some areas and some of the scenes seemed forced and jumpy. I would say rent this movie if you are looking for a movie to pass some time. I did like it, I just don't give it high praises.

Both Will Rise But Only One Will Stay Standing
I have grown to rather like these fictional fights that I know will never happen. This week I give you Lord Voldemort Vs Emperor Palpatine (Darth Sidious). Since both these characters are Dues Ex Machina immortals here is the Stipulation. Both Characters have no way to comeback afterwards meaning. Voldemort has no Horcruxes left and Palpatine hasn't prepared a host for his Force Essence transfer. That is the stipulation
BIOS
Tom M. Riddle a.k.a Lord Voldemort
A man with a Hitler complex a half blood passing himself off as a pure blood. Hated his father for being a muggle. Hence his war on mudbloods He was a genius for his time, and coolly manipulative even as a child. He grew up with a chip on his shoulder cause he was different lived in an orphanage and hated muggles. He grew up to be one of the worlds most feared Dark Wizards and inspired a generation of Dark Wizards to his cause, using the unforgivable curses and rallying radical elitist pure blood families to his banner. His weapon of choice fear, so much so the even uttering his name caused people to shriek in fear and called him "He who must not be named". His signature spell was the most dangerous of unforgivable curses called the Avada Kedavara spell aptly named the Killing Curse. His only fear is the powerful Wizard Dumbledor headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Voldemort survived by splitting his soul into seven (possibly eight) pieces know as the Horcruxes.
Bio
Palpatine, Senator Palpatine later Emperor Palpatine a.k.a Darth Sidious Dark Lord of the Sith
This man's age is unknown it is speculated that his age is older then Jedi Master Yoda. Trained in the dark side by Darth Plaguous a Sith Dark Lord who mastered the art of Immortality, but saw to it not to completely train his apprentice in the art. Sidious would kill his former master and take the Mantle of Dark Lord for himself without fully knowing the secret to immortality. It is unclear if the emperor is the first form he has taken. The Secret to Sidious's power is Transfer of Force Essence. It was mentioned in books that Sidious's current form of the emperor was a specially made clone that wouldn't awaken until the original died. Do not let his old decrepit looks fool you. He is fast and can kill without thought or reason mainly through the use of Force Lightning. The full extent of his power is unknown having once destroyed a fleet of Star Destroyers with a Force Storm. Palpatine is very charismatic and persuasive and has brought even his most deadly of enemies to his side with talks of friendship and understanding (especially during his rise to power as Emperor).
It is magic vs Dark Side Force powers. In this battle you have two highly skilled and highly feared men either of which could very easily kill the other. I see this fight going in two stages, both will send flunkies to weaken the other and then when that fails each will try to tempt the other into working with the other for a short while. Then we get to the fight, this is where I give the slight advantage to Sidious. He will most likely lore Voldemort into thinking he has completely demoralized the decrepit old man and then spring with force lightning to shock Voldemort to death. Since Magic is a form of energy (at least in my opinion) I say the Avada Kedavara can be deflected by the lightsaber and since Sith Lords are known to place force barriers around themselves, the spell would fizzle out and knock palpatine back. So I give the win to Palpatine
Tell me in the comment section how you think the fight would go down and who would win.

He pulled first, it was "Justified"!!
The show in itself isn't your typical crime scene investigator show. No no NO, this show is nitty and gritty and dirty. A modern day Tombstone about a renegade style U.S Deputy Marshal Raylan Givens. Right from the opening scene in Miami Florida you can tell Raylan is a take no shit from nobody kind of man. "I gave you twenty four hours to get out of Miami or I would shoot you on sight, you still got five minutes." Right as the button man of the Miami drug cartel unleashes his hidden gun to shoot Givens he is shot in the chest before he could pull the trigger. Raylan is quoted as being the number one gun fighter in all of Kentucky. Unleash that type of man on criminals and you may very well have the second coming of Wyatt Urp himself.
The story takes place just after Raylan Givens (Tim Olyphant) shoots hitman Johnny Bucks a man Raylan was suppose to take alive. Instead of losing his job he is transferred or as Raylan puts it exiled to his home Town of Harlan Kentucky to work for the Marshals down in Lexington. To which almost immediately Raylan finds himself embroiled in the case of his childhood friend Boyd Crowder. Crowder is in the beginning of the show an army vet turned white supremest who goes around blowing up churchs of colored people and Jewish people. Raylan becomes even more intertwined with his former friend when he finds out Boyd's sister-in-law shot and killed Boyd's brother Bowman an abusive man with a short temper. This one incident shows it ugly head many a time in the series, even bringing Raylan under attorney fire. Because he really can't help himself Raylan winds up sleeping with Crowder's widowed sister-in-law which is a BIG NO NO in his line of work.
Overall this show is amazingly acted and casted the cinematography is great also. The writing on the script gives it a tone and cultured style you could only find in the south. I highly suggest you go out and buy the first season on DVD or watch it on demand, you will not be disappointed.
To The Green Hornet Haters
Okay before I begin, I KNOW that everyone is entitled to an opinion because as they say. "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one." It seems to me though that the people who hate on this movie, hate this movie because they didn't understand it at all. If you are outside of geek culture and have never picked up a comic or been inside of a comic shop you are more likely then not, not going to know who The Green Hornet is. Green Hornet is a good guy who acts like a bad guy to keep himself from the moral code that seems to plague your typical superhero. So if you really wanted to, you can chalk Green Hornet up as an Anti-hero.
I am not trying to call you ignorant or stupid for hating on this movie. I am however calling you myopic. You have a chance to experience a class of superhero that not many heroes can be. If you have to give this movie anything give it this, Green Hornet was a well directed and shot movie with a great script. Unlike Ghost Rider (another virtual unknown outside of the geek community) who's direction and script and pacing was that of a snail in a turtle race. So instead of just going all "I hate this movie, it was suckfest and retarded." Take a step back and look at it from a new angle and experience it in a way you don't normally think of Superheroes. Green Hornet is one of the reasons I like Anti-Heroes better then Heroes. So I urge all of you who hated Green Hornet to give it a second chance.

The Town
A simple yet satisfying review of Ben Affleck's The Town, another movie based in the city of Boston. The nitty gritty of this movie is this, Doug Macray (Affleck) is a career criminal who plans robberies. Having grown up in the Charlestown section of Boston, Macray learned his skills from his father, like the rest of the criminals of Charlestown. The movie revolves around a somewhat successful aftermath of a Bank Robbery in Cambridge, the crew of Macrey, Jim and the other two guys take the Bank Manager as hostage only to let her go. Doug follows the girl around to make sure she doesn't go blabbing to the FBI. While he watches over her and sleeps with her, he winds up falling in love with her.
This movie is overall very well acted and shot. The script is believable and the story draws you in so you care about the characters. Ben Affleck did a great job directing his second full length film. Since this movie is no longer in theaters I suggest you go out to your local store or mall and buy this movie, or rent it from where ever you rent movies.
